General
Yes — completely free, forever. There are no subscriptions, no hidden fees and no feature limits. Board4Football will always be free.
Yes. Board4Football is a native Windows application. It runs fully offline — no internet connection is needed to use any feature. An internet connection is only used when subscribing to update notifications.
All your data is stored locally on your computer in the Documents\FootballBoardV1 folder. Nothing is sent to any server. Your data belongs to you and stays on your device.
Board4Football requires Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit). It is built on .NET 8 which is included in the installer — no separate download needed.

Absolutely. The app supports 6v6, 7v7, 8v8, 9v9, 10v10 and 11v11 formats. There is also a multi-substitution mode designed specifically for futsal and youth football where players can enter and exit freely.
During a match, when you record a goal, chance, assist or key pass, the app asks you to select a zone on a full pitch grid (4 columns × 5 rows). After the match, the Stats tab shows a heat map with all your recorded zones — colour-coded by frequency.
Yes. From the Stats tab you can export full team statistics or individual player reports to Excel (.xlsx). The export includes match stats, training attendance, physical test history and shot map zone data.
Yes. The Training tab has an Export Training Plan button that opens the print dialog — choose any printer or save as PDF. The Match Prep tab has an Export PDF button for the lineup sheet.
No. Your data is stored in your Documents folder, completely separate from the application files. Updates will never affect your data. You can also back it up manually by copying the FootballBoardV1 folder.
In the Season / Target tab you can finish the current season and start a new one. Past seasons and their statistics are preserved and can be viewed in the Stats tab by selecting a specific season from the filter.

When you first install Board4Football, a welcome screen appears where you can enter your email to subscribe to update notifications. You can skip this and subscribe later by reinstalling or emailing us directly.
